I know that some people drink black tea with milk, but with tomatoes? That’s one option recommended by foodpairing.be, a new approach to get information about possible food combinations. I personally like the idea although it’s not well implemented yet. Especially food is - in my mind - a very underestimated sector. There are many sites providing recipes and there are many places on the web where special food can be ordered.
Nonetheless, a real problem solver has not been developed yet. In my opinion, the approach of foodpairing.be goes into the right direction. Next time I miss an ingredient for my meal I simply check whether it can be replaced by something else. Though I’m not ready for black tea with tomatoes.
Wow, we should totally use that for chocri (customized chocolate bars). We’ve been looking into “The Flavor Bible” - a couple went from famous chef to famous chef and collected flavor combinations. I was wondering why that would be in a book, when a dynamic way of presenting it is so much smarter - the internets is great :)
