I took this picture literally across the street. I’m so excited about mass customization, but I sometimes I just need to remind myself that customization isn’t really a new thing at all. Things like “customize your omelette” are everywhere, and have been. Either we go from mass to custom or from custom to mass. Looking at the success of startups in the arena, going from custom to mass seems to be the smarter choice… anyone from NikeID or MyM&Ms here?
